Skill Set:  Desktop Engineer ~ MS Windows command line syntax, Ping, ipconfig /all, tracert, netstat, nslookup, DOS/command line commands, basic UNIX shell scripts, Windows services, Active Directory, DNS and DCHP, MS Outlook.

Salary / Overtime:  Rate: - Market rate (keep it very reasonable)

Job Description:  Holtsville, New York ~ 3+ months ~ Rate: - Very Competitive ~ Responsibilities: • Skilled in MS Windows command line syntax, Ping, ipconfig /all, tracert, netstat, nslookup, DOS/command line commands, basic UNIX shell scripts ~ Provide installation, configuration and assuring the operation and maintenance of common Server/network devices. ~ Skilled and experienced in common Windows services, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP. ~ Skilled in the use of trouble shooting procedures for all Windows servers including the configuration of Performance alerts. ~ Must have a functional understanding of the Windows EVENT viewer in the investigation of issues and resolution. ~ Functional understanding of Windows remote desktop (RDP). ~ Skilled in solving Windows Client Server connectivity issues. ~ Skilled in MS Outlook.
